Tropical Storm Fred made landfall near Cape San Blas, Florida, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in its latest advisory on Monday.Fred was located about 25 miles (40 km) west of Apalachicola, Florida, with maximum sustained winds of 65 miles per hour (100 km/h), the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
