San Diego Wave sells out Snapdragon Stadium opener – SportBusiness

The National Women’s Soccer League’s San Diego Wave FC announced a full sellout of its tickets for the club’s September 17 game against Los Angeles’ Angel City FC at the new Snapdragon Stadium.
The club previously said on August 23 that it had sold 27,000 tickets, which would be enough to set a league attendance record. Snapdragon Stadium’s capacity is listed at 35,000, and as a result, the latest announcement represents yet another sales surge for the upcoming event.
