Walk Audit with Euclid ES Student Council Recap

Photo Jun 06 12 41 43 PM

This past Monday, the Circulate planning team had the joy of leading the Euclid Elementary School student council on a walk audit around their school.

The kids learned how to identify walking and biking hazards and what practical solutions would look like. They used their mapping tools to note cracked sidewalks, lack of bike lanes and shade, and obstructions in the walkway – all elements that contribute to Safe Routes to Schools.

The student council will make wonderful future planners for active transportation!
