  1. Heavy rain, snow, thunderstorms, flooding, high surf – Oh, my! The National Weather Service forecast reports that San Diego will be soggy!   2. Is a grocery workers strike inevitable? Over 500 stores, Ralphs, Albertsons/Vons/Pavilions, would be affected during a strike. Workers have been waiting for a new contract for the past three years. They are asking for high pay and better benefits, as well as adequate scheduling and hours. (Spectrum)
  3. Saint Teresa of Calcutta Villa/Father Joe’s Villages low-income housing has opened in the East Village. The complex will provide permanent housing for the homeless. Veterans, families, and those with special needs will be relocated into the 407-room structure. It will be a start in eliminating homelessness here in San Diego. (NBC San Diego)
